Linda Teachey Watjen, age 63, of Hockessin, Delaware, passed away on February 21, 2024. She was born on May 6, 1960. Linda, a Financial Advisor and Planner, also pursued her passion as a Pickleball Professional at the duPont Country Club.
Linda graduated from Alexis I. duPont High School and furthered her education at the University of Delaware. She enjoyed playing tennis, golf, and pickleball in her leisure time.An outdoor person she loved sharing her love of sports and teaching others.
She is survived by her brother, David Watjen, and was preceded in death by John W. Watjen and Carolyn T. Watjen.
Linda was loved by her family and friends. Linda’s big heart made a special difference with all she knew. Linda was best known for her work with the Delaware Humane Association. Her love of animals was reflected by her love of her and any furry creatures. She would go to great lengths to find homes for all animals especially cats and dogs. We are all better people due to having Linda in our lives.
Services will be private with burial at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
